The Red, White and Blue Honor Guard was formed in late 2004 following the untimely death of Driver Operator Barrie Niebergall. Many members of the organization found it fitting to honor his fire service legacy by promoting what he stood for: Honor, Integrity, and Tradition. An initial group of 4 started the program, with up to 7 members participating. Local 4325 worked in conjunction with the Fire District to provide a professional group to honor the members of the fire service and perform at community events.
Events
Since the inception of the program, the honor guard has participated in many local, state, and national events. These events are all conducted free of charge, with donations accepted. These events include:
College Graduations
Colorado Fallen Firefighters Memorial
Colorado Rockies Games
Cub Scout Arrowhead Ceremonies
Denver Bronco’s Games
Fire Chief Conferences
High School Athletic Events
High School Graduations
International Fallen Firefighters Memorial
July 4th Celebrations
Local and State Conferences
U.S. Firefighters Memorial
