Andy Noble of Roseville, Michigan is an amazing young man who has cerebral palsy and chronic lung disease. When his mother, Laurie, adopted him as a fetal alcohol syndrome baby, he was not expected to live a week. In January of 2008, Andy turned 18 years old. Although physically challenged, Andy has had one passion — to become a Firefighter, Police Officer, or Emergency Responder. To support her son’s dream, Laurie writes letters to police and fire departments around the world to request patches and memorabilia. His collection of patches now approaches 15,000.
Red, White and Blue firefighters recently sent funds to help Andy Noble obtain his own Class A uniform, dress wear for firefighters. Andy has formed his own division of public safety and his mission is to help all emergency responders since he cannot be one himself. We wanted him to have a proper uniform for his public engagements and to feel the pride of wearing a Class A.
